So lets meet them...
Club Captain: Michael Vaughan
A batting legend that played over 170 games for England and scored over 7,500 runs. He captained England to an iconic Ashes win in 2005 and is now the proud captain of the NatWest Cricket Club.

As the Club captain, Michael is determined to help galvanise cricket fans like you across the country to bring to life the issues facing the game and actively get involved to make a difference to the sport at a community level. From painting fences and sightscreens at the NatWest CricketForce weekend to presenting the trophy at the NatWest U15 National Club Championship Final, Michael is a key part of the Club. |
In addition, Michael will be using his expert knowledge to help our Club Members get an insight into the England camp with regular interviews for the website, which you can watch in the player above. Plus our Members will have the chance to win a place to meet Michael at our pre-match Q&As and try and bowl him out at our interactive cricket roadshow - Pro Bowling
Overseas Pro: Sachin Tendulkar
The 'Little Master' is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time and rightly so as he currently leads the all-time leading run scoring chart with over 32,000 runs in over 600 international matches for India.

As the Club's Overseas Pro Sachin Tendulkar will be supporting our captain in encouraging fans across the country to help secure the future of the game at a community level by volunteering their time at their local club and at events such as the NatWest CricketForce Fundraiser Weekend.
In return the 'Little Master' will be giving our Club Members the chance to find out what makes him tick in a series of interviews across the summer as well as passing on his expertise an at exclusive masterclass open to a lucky selection of our NatWest Current Account members. |

Pitch Doctor: Chris Wood
Since becoming the ECB's Pitch Consultant in 1997 Chris Wood has been responsible for providing the ECB Cricket Department with key information on all matters relating to pitches, playing surfaces and groundsmanship in both first-class and recreational cricket – including monitoring international match pitches and practice areas.

It is often said that a game of cricket is only as good as the pitch it is played on, which is why we have teamed up with the ECB's Pitch Consultant to help local cricket clubs get the best advice and tips on how to prepare and maintain their pitches.
As the NatWest Cricket Club's Pitch Doctor, Chris Wood will be providing a series of helpful video guides for recreational club groundsmen covering everything from marking out a pitch at the start of the season to putting the pitch to bed in the winter and general maintenance in-between |
