The NatWest Cricket Club
The NatWest Cricket Club was launched in 2011 to galvanise the support of fans across the country and aims to generate £20m worth of additional support for the grassroots game through a combination of volunteering, fundraising and contributions from local businesses and communities. Members of the Club can also benefit from a range of rewards throughout the summer from NatWest ODI Series tickets through to exclusive cricketing experiences.
Aims of the Club
With the former England skipper Michael Vaughan as Club Captain, the NatWest Cricket Club has been created to galvanise cricket fans across the country, making them aware of the key challenges and offering them the chance to gain rewards for getting involved and seeking to make a difference to the sport in their community. The improvements will be made by addressing five core challenges.
|
1) Improving Facilities to increase levels of participation. 2) Developing women's facilities along side the success of the women's cricket. 3) Improving disability access and facilities making it more inclusive for all. 4) Renewing old grassroot cricket squares across England and Wales. 5) Making sure all development work is environmentally friendly. |
NatWest Cricket Club Commitments
NatWest and the ECB are committed to doubling the success generated by the NatWest CricketForce in 2011 and predict that in 2013 the Cricket Club will have made £20m worth of improvements around the UK. In order to achieve this NatWest will offer all of our cricket loving Current Account customers the chance to gain rewards for joining the NatWest Cricket Club. To support the growth of the NatWest Cricket Club, NatWest is, for the first time, allocating the assets it receives through its cricket sponsorships, from tickets and merchandise through to England player appearances, to its members in order to inspire customers and cricket lovers to register to play their part in helping reinvigorate the game of cricket in their local community.

Every member will have the chance to benefit from the Club rewards including access match tickets and special discounts, while members who are also NatWest Current Account Customers will have the chance to win some exclusive cricket experiences, like training with the England Cricket team to meeting our Club Captain, Michael Vaughan.
